She held on and worked hard to move her little one from bottles to breast and achieved success at 2 1/2 months. Message from the Artist: here is something primitive about the way my baby will cling to me in the night – his plump and wonderful little legs wrapping around my waist, his closed eyes, his trusting little body seeking my warmth and protection. How wondrous it must feel to a child to know that she or he who holds the power to keep you 100% safe and warm is so accessible. From the very beginning – even before finessing the structure of the child’s body or the flow of the mother’s frame, I knew that she’d be wearing something whimsical that would reach out into the space to the upper right.
