Message from the Artist: I've been wanting to incorporate my love of intricate pen drawings (past work) into my current paintings ~ this painting started as an experiment of line drawing into an under-painting ~ later, the composition started to form ~ and while reading Katrina Kenison's wonderful book Mitten Strings For God, I realized the purpose of this painting ~ a mother telling stories, spinning tales for her child. The intricate and textural movement beneath the paint of this piece represents the stories weaving through & around this duo. Telling stories to my boys is a very simple pleasure for me.

Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and enclosed in a protective clear bag. 8x10 and 12x12 prints have an acid free backing board and are shipped in a stiff mailer. 13x19 prints are gently rolled and shipped in a triangular shipping tube.
