Message from the Artist: Based on Quench, the fifth of the 8x8” paintings in the 85 8x8s for $85 collection begun February 1, 2009 ~ I was drawn to create this larger painting and the title came effortlessly. Imagining the sensation of clutching a most prized individual in my arms ~ one of my children ~ the fear of ever losing them dwarfed by the pure, warm, wholesome joy of feeling their body pressed against my own, their breath moving against me.

Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and enclosed in a protective clear bag. 8x10 and 12x12 prints have an acid free backing board and are shipped in a stiff mailer. 13x19 prints are gently rolled and shipped in a triangular shipping tube.
