Message from the Artist: This commissioned painting is inspired by two earlier pieces: Defined and Flow. The mother is protecting the child from the dark, and the child cuddles the mom yet turns away in shyness. This painting is a gift for Heather, with love from Mike.

Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and enclosed in a protective clear bag. 8x10 and 12x12 prints have an acid free backing board and are shipped in a stiff mailer. 13x19 prints are gently rolled and shipped in a triangular shipping tube.
