Message from the Artist: Losing my Dad at the age of 20, I’m naturally drawn to situations featuring Father & Daughter. For reasons of healing, essences of my Dad showed up in many of my early pieces. Recently, on a long journey from Portland to Sweden, I saw something in a Father/Daughter pair. Attracted to their sweet relationship, I couldn’t help but create several sketches of them on the plane. One thing I love about art is its ability to connect people who may have not otherwise met. Once we arrived at the airport, I was blessed with the courage to introduce myself to the duo, and let them know that I planned to paint them. Thank you, P & K for providing inspiration for this painting, and for helping to reopen a door of inspiration.

Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and enclosed in a protective clear bag. 8x10 and 12x12 prints have an acid free backing board and are shipped in a stiff mailer. 13x19 prints are gently rolled and shipped in a triangular shipping tube.
