Message from the Artist:
There is something primitive about the way my baby will cling to me in the night - his plump and wonderful little legs wrapping around my waist, his closed eyes, his trusting little body seeking my warmth and protection. How wondrous it must feel to a child to know that she or he who holds the power to keep you 100% safe and warm is so accessible.

From the very beginning - even before finessing the structure of the child's body or the flow of the mother's frame, I knew that she'd be wearing something whimsical that would reach out into the space to the upper right. Implementing it was great fun and opened the door for more whimsy... just wait :)
